Description:
Stalcup's Adult Damsel, Blue
This is a very life-like imitation of an adult damsel fly by Shane Stalcup. The design of this pattern also imitates a fallen insect which is easy prey to trout, bass, panfish and other fish species.
Emergence is dependent on climate and can begin in the spring or summer. Expect to find Damsel flies in slower or slack water conditions, and in lakes and ponds. When fishing this pattern in rivers or streams, allow to drift for a period then impart a little action to imitate the insect trying to regain flight.
