Considered the ultimate weapon for float fishing, the center pin reel allows for the smoothest and most controlled float presentation possible. With Aventa, the Okuma quality and value has now entered the world of the hard core steelhead fisherman.

The Aventa series is offered in both west coast and east coast styles. The VT1000 features the traditional center pin design, with a bronze bushing. The VT1002, with two stainless steel ball bearings, is the reel of choice, for a fraction of the cost of the typical float reels. Both precision reels are excellent for casting directly from the reel or drag free drift. 4 1/2" diameter spool.
