Description: Baetis Krystal The krystal wing on this version of a baetis imitation provides excellent visibility for the fisherman and an ideal wing silhouette as an attracting feature for the trout.
The principle hatch periods are in the early season as noted in the hatch charts, but some species are available nearly year round. The western hatches are more indicative on limestone and freestone streams. They are a multi-brooding insect and can also be found in fishable quantities during the late season in most regions.
