Description: Guideline Power Taper Ready To Go - Distance Head Years ago we hesitated when asked to produce our Power Taper shooting heads in fixed lengths and weights. When it comes to the ‘right’ length and the ‘right’ weight for shooting heads, it can be a very personal choice as all anglers are different. Therefore, we left the decision up to the individual, after all, in Scandinavia, there is a long tradition in customizing fly lines. However, many people new to shooting heads hesitate to cut a new line and are afraid to ruin it. This persuaded us to manufacture READY-TO-GO heads, and we need not have worried - they’ve worked out very well indeed. Over the years, we’ve advised thousands of people as to the correct length and weight to use, so we have a pretty good idea how to match the perfect line to the rod.
DISTANCE
Wherever there is enough space to use a longer head, this one will produce longer, smoother casts and enable you to cover more water.
