The Dyna Tip is engineered on a braided nylon core with 555 coatings to create a supple line for cold water conditions plus the added benefit of a 4' high floating tip section. The Cortland 555 Dyna-Tip is a new low memory freshwater fly line with a high floating tip. Built on a super supple braided nylon core and coated with advanced plastics and active lubricants, the 555 Dyna Tip is mango colored with an off white super high floating tip. With water at a specific gravity of 1.0 and the majority of floating lines at .9, the 555 Dyna-Tip tip section floats at .6, making it the only “dynamic tipped” fly line in the world. Quick pick up, gentle turn over, and easy mending make this line the first choice for trout, salmon and steelhead anglers looking for a high floating line, especially for use in cold water.
