Description:
Caddis Midge Emerger Biot Body, Black
This is the perfect emergent pattern for the Little Black Caddis and the "Mother's Day Caddis."
There are those times when the trout seem to be feeding on anything other than the fly on the end of your line. One of the best solutions, especially if you see the trout rising, is to use an emergent pattern. When fishing this pattern allow it to complete a full swing to 90-degrees downstream, and then drown the fly and pull it upwards somewhat rapidly. Caddis flies when they rise do so very quickly in an effort to break the water's surface film. This action is sometimes just the trick to get the trout to respond.
