A great all-around wet fly, the Black Gnat can be fished on most trout waters. Diptera or True Flies are found just about everywhere fish swim; that's why you can fish this pattern anywhere. Trout will rarely refuse this pattern in smaller sizes. Fished over and down, dead-drifted or stripped through still/slow water, this classic wet fly is fun to fish!
